Dr. Iutzi Tahiana Orostegui is a highly skilled Doctor of Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine, a Diplomate of Oriental Medicine certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM), and a Licensed Acupuncturist. With a solid foundation as an Allopathic Medical Doctor from her international training, Dr. Orostegui is deeply committed to integrating Western medicine with Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Her expertise enables her to provide holistic patient care that harmoniously blends the strengths of both medical traditions, ensuring comprehensive and effective treatment for her patients.
Dr. Orostegui’s extensive educational background reflects her commitment to holistic and innovative healthcare. She earned her Doctorate in Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine from the Daoist Traditions College of Chinese Medical Arts in North Carolina, enhancing her expertise in this ancient and revered field. As a new patient, your journey will begin with a one-on-one Health Screening and Initial Treatment with our licensed Acupuncture Physician.
Schedule Your Health Screening and Initial Treatment
In this initial session, we’ll perform an in-depth review of your medical history, as well as a variety of diagnostic tests (including tongue and pulse diagnostics).
This step allows us to get to the root of your problem fast... which is key in creating your custom care plan.
Once your assessment is complete, you’ll receive a hands-on treatment that includes acupuncture, as well as a blend of other ancient and modern aspects of Chinese Medicine.
Depending on your specific needs, your treatment may include:
- Manual Therapy and Oriental Bodywork
- Herbal Medicine and Nutritional Supplements
- Cupping and Guasha Therapy
- Biopuncture/B12 Shots and Other Homeopathic Injectables
