Hello, my name is Dr. Maria Chah, L.Ac. (Licensed Acupuncturist) and Herbalist. I first experienced the benefits of Oriental medicine after surgery for endometriosis. The healing process from the surgery was prolonged and difficult. After being treated with acupuncture and herbal medicine, I regained hormonal balance and found a new and natural lease on life. My experience showed me that treating a person’s mind, body, and soul is the key to true healing.Oriental Medicine is preventative medicine. As an acupuncture physician, I address all general medical conditions, with a specific interest in pain management, women’s health and internal physiological issues. Maria’s career in alternative medicine began 20 years ago as a medical massage therapist. After years of practicing and teaching neuromuscular therapy, she found her true calling in Oriental Medicine, and enrolled in the Dragon Rises College of Oriental Medicine (DRCOM) in Gainesville, FL. Dr. Maria Chah graduated from the Dragon Rises College of Oriental Medicine (DRCOM) with a Bachelors of Science degree in Health, and a Masters degree in Chinese Oriental Medicine.
